Children of the Resistance

Script by - Art by

Summer, 1940. A part of France is occupied by the German Army, and Marshal Pétain signs the Armistice. In their small village in Eastern France, 13-year-old François, Lisa, and Eusèbe refuse to accept this situation. As the adults around them all give in, the children decide to join the Resistance movement and to establish a network in their region.
A beautiful lesson about history, friendship, and courage, the richly-documented series “Children of the Resistance” follows the trio and their adventures during the war.
On the eve of the seventh volume’s publication, the series has sold a million copies in French and has led to a novel adaptation, a podcast, several exhibitions, and many foreign editions and merchandizing products. The excellent author duo are along for the enthusiastic ride, accompanied always by their compelling young heroes who have many more surprises in store.
