In the video below, European and American publishers and authors discuss the emergence of the format and its phenomenal rise internationally in the past decade. They also look at the differences and similarities of working in comics in Europe and the USA. Introducing the Italian creative team Teresa Radice and Stefano Turconi, with their award-winning Globetrotting Viola, joined by their publisher Marco Bernardini (Tunué), author and First Second editorial director Mark Siegel (Five Worlds), and Eisner and Caldecott Award winner Vera Brosgol (Anya’s Ghost and Leave Me Alone!). Moderated by librarian Alea Perez.
