Thanasis Karabalios was born and raised in Palaiokastro, Elassona. He has always loved reading and drawing comics, starting from a very young age. He is the creator of the series 1800 which now consists of five books. He participated in the exhibition and the book Βάλ’ τους Χ - Ο Μαύρος Χάρτης της Ρατσιστικής Βίας (Reject Them - The Black Map of Racist Violence) and in other comic book exhibitions. He works as an illustrator and comics artist. He lives in Larissa with his family.
