Warnauts

Artist & Scriptwriter

Just like his brothers Marc-Renier and Roland, Eric Warnauts set a course for comics at an early age. His first full-length work, Passion Vinyle, was published by Futuropolis, and following two more graphic novels with independent publishers, he met Guy Raives, with whom he would go on to make a formidable duo. They first created Paris perdu (Editions du miroir), before joining up with Casterman. There they would push their collaboration to new heights, creating a series of impressive graphic novels, including the long-running Suites Vénitiennes. Their recent work includes Sous les paves (Le Lombard), and the thriller Purple Heart (Le Lombard; Europe Comics in English).
