Comic Con Baltics is an annual popular culture event organised in Vilnius, Lithuania. This year it’ll take place on September 15-16, at the LITEXPO exhibition centre. The key words you need to know: famous actors; the biggest Cosplay competition in Baltic states; panels; presentation of the newest Lithuanian film projects; comics; kids game zone; games and newest technologies; props from cult films. Most importantly – it is a place, where heroes meet!
The goal is to encourage the public to get interested in and involved with popular culture and art. Take a look at how Comic Con Baltics rocked in 2017: http://bit.ly/CCBaltics.
The Night of Philosophy and Ideas is an all-night marathon of philosophical debate, performances, screenings, readings, and music, including top philosophers from around the world. The event will also feature celebrated graphic novelist Jul, author of Uh-Oh, Plato! (Dargaud, Europe Comics in English). His event, “Laughter, Image, and Philosophy,” will take place Sunday morning at 4 am, where Jul will show in just a few steps how his work as an illustrator and humorist meets the pleasure of thought in motion.
