Comics festival across Canada are thrilled to announce a month-long digital initiative called #CanCAF. Each participating festival or event is programming a variety of comics related events, from workshops to interviews, live drawing to panel discussions, podcasts to videocasts, and you can check out the #CanCAF tag across to social media to see the great material being created.

Art9 is pleased to present “Line and Frame” the first comprehensive exhibition of European comic art in the United States. Chaniartoon is an annual festival dedicated to comic, illustration and animation. During the festival “artist alley” is taking place and animation film awards.
Tampere Kuplii is a feel-good comics festival for everybody interested in comics and graphic novels. The festival is free of charge for the attendees, and everyone is welcome. The weekend programming consists of lectures, panels, signatures, competitions and various free-form activities. While most of the programming will be in Finnish, there will also be items to enjoy even if you don’t speak Finnish, for example our cosplay competition and several comics-related exhibitions. Comic vendors will be selling comic books also in English (and a lot other interesting stuff, too!) during the weekend. Our staff as well as our many vendors will also be happy to assist you in English.
