The East London Comic Arts Festival, founded by Nobrow in 2012, began as a small one-day festival designed to showcase some of the most exciting works in comics and illustration. In only four years it has grown to become one of the leading festivals of its kind in the UK. Attracting over 3,000 visitors annually, ELCAF continues to spotlight emerging talent and celebrate the dynamic community of individual artists and collectives that are pushing the boundaries in their creative fields.

Hal-Con attracts celebrities like Jim Beaver (2017), Gates McFadden (2016), John de Lancie (2015) Mark Sheppard (2014), Billy Dee Williams (2013), René Auberjonois (2012), Erin Gray (2011) and Walter Koenig (2010). Halifax is the hub of the Maritimes and we think it’s the perfect backdrop for Atlantic Canada’s biggest sci-fi, fantasy and gaming convention.
